About your role as Manufacturing Engineer
We are looking for a manufacturing engineer who is responsible for the transition from product development to assembly. With your background in mechanical engineering, you participate in projects where you start with prototyping to see how the product can be produced correctly so that we can achieve the right quality at the right price. For our existing products, you manage the hardware change requests and ensure that they go through the entire process correctly.
What do you bring?
- A diploma or proven experience in mechanical engineering or mechatronics at minimum bachelor level
- Experience in drawing in Solidworks
What will your responsibilities and tasks be
Your work is diverse. For example, you work together with our R&D engineers on a project to test the manufacturability of a new product. For change requests on our existing products, you ensure that the SolidWorks drawings are updated, and that all documentation is up to date. You facilitate our assembly team with troubleshooting and take initiative for optimizations. You are also a discussion partner for suppliers of manufactured parts, and you work together with the Technical Purchaser.
